Does this manner of speaking sound like a teen or young adult?

So was reading this manga here

and was wondering does the manner of speaking sound like teens? Someone told me but is this true? Or is it fine for adults or young adults to speak this way?

Sounds a bit condescending, but I don’t see any individual structures that I would never hear from an adult.

Even in english its not often I look at a sentence and am like “hmm yes this is a classic 18-23 year old sentence but the person saying only appears to be 15. Quite the inconsistency we have here mr. author”. Like different people talk in different ways and theres a lot of overlap. I’d stop trying so hard to think about it (judging from your post history). Just take note of what characters say what and you’ll notice any relevant patterns given enough time.

I mean 1. ない → ねえ

どうしたの → どーしちゃったの

A lot of it depends on the context. Like my wife and I will use ねえ instead of ない like in a jokingly rough way and some friends do it like “I’m not that stupid” way but again in a non serious way.

But on the other side you’ll on average hear it in a scolding situation. Like a teacher to a student who’s out of line.

どーしちゃったの is どうしてしまったの rather than just どうしたの
