I’m really relieved that we’re now on B4. I’ve read the clue text, haven’t got time to read all the posts on it so far. Will stop by later on to see if there’s anything I can contribute to the solution this time.

• Koichi once said that he didn’t think about adding any more levels, but that he believed having something to take care of kanji used in Japanese names would be cool. They usually use not so common readings of kanji, so it’s something hard to tackle.
• They have some info about Japanese names here, so it wouldn’t be like they were starting from the very beginning:

In Kanji Kentei, "Level 2 just adds the 284 kanji used in names. " - If we want to keep this new name levels theory going.

So for Kanji Kentei test, level 9 has 240 kanjis… we are taller… so with 60 is enough… Level 10 is 80 thought… but maybe 60 levels is enough for us… so level 9 in Wanikani?

There are 240 Kanji in Kanji Kentei level 9. There are 10 levels in descending order. “Sometimes you gotta descend to ascend”.

But right before 5500 post Koichi came by and said that he’s already gone to B4. And we solved it a couple hundred posts after (I think Koichi couldn’t really hint at that point, because we had all 4 keywords, as he said)

To be more precise, he gave us a hint before 5500, and told us he’d answer questions after 5500. So it wasn’t that he just gave us his hint early - he actually said he’d post again.

I also think Koichi should gift us all with tshirts, in black or magenta, that say “I survived eGoooott” or simply “eGoooott”.

I travelled to B3, and all I got was this stupid eGoooott.

Seriously, we had mrs Chou early on, we have had egoooott for days/weeks and noone tried it ( ¬_ლ)

Honestly, I’m still irritated by eGoooott. Getting Mrs Chou early on was a random guess, but eGoooott we managed to derive by following the clues, but then rejected it because it wasn’t a word. Like, seriously - I had the four keywords listed in post 5187 but it took us almost five hundred more posts to get the password, in post 5642. And we spent most of those five hundred posts trying to work out what we’d done wrong with the book cipher to wind up with eGoooott instead of a proper word - and even those who were trying eGoooott in the password box anyway were getting nowhere, because (a) literally nothing suggests it should be in 4-3-1-2 order, and (b) why is “eGoooott” capitalised but not “turtle”?
