Common Japanese Fonts?

I started WaniKani, and soon realized there are many japanese fonts.

So what are the most common Japanese fonts? I would prefer to not be confused when looking at anything with more stylized or different fonts.

Yep, fonts are pretty interesting, especially when it comes to handwriting

I am using Noto Sans CJK JP.
CJK stands for China-Japan-Korea so it is important to choose the JP version.
