For now, it really seems like the same difficulty level as Fifteen.
And I know I was supposed to start in 2021, I still have some things to complete in 2020, but I couldn’t resist.

At first I had doubts about only Akutagawa joining ADA - what about his companions - and then they all got slaughtered. Convenient.
Whole Gin thing is messy for me. She helped Akutagawa escape, and Dazai is threatening to take her, but she is so non-existent beside that. And apparently “everyone” is killed by thugs, but everyone doesn’t include her. We don’t even see any interaction between siblings. It is similar to the manga, but idk, I think it would be fitting for them to talk here.
And before the fight I was like “Akutagawa, why are you opening your wound” and then “oh” when he started painting himself with blood.

Talking about sizes, look at these cardboard copies from recent promo event, they really cared about getting heights right 
Unfortunately, I think some characters are treated better than others. 
The series from which I got my plushie only had Dazai, Chuuya, Akutagawa and Atsushi.
It’s a weird case with Chuuya, he doesn’t have too much screentime in the main plot, but he’s getting so many merch items.

Wow Kunikida’s smiling fine just break my heart like that 
I was under the impression Dazai was the tallest for some reason…
But looking it up Dazai is 5 foot 9 (180 cm) and Kunikida is over 6 foot dang wot a toll boi (189).
Chuuya really out there being only 160 cms. Finally I’m taller than someone 
I’ve noticed there’s not much Kunikida art/merch. Not as much as the others, at least. Which is strange because he even has his own OVA (And novel…) so he’s obviously one of the most important main characters…
Either way I like all four of these characters so time to go waste money I guess 
I think it’s a mixture of people liking Soukoku (Dazai and Chuuya together) and his aesthetic of being a short boi with style. He’s just a really interesting character looks-wise I guess so people are drawn to that.

The week after Christmas I’ll be unable to study and rn I’ve been preoccupied with other stuff so I haven’t read any of it yet (Except a few pages lmao).

but AmiAmi operates mainly on preorders and I see they are already out of Dazai and Atsushi. But as they are focusing on preorders even with video games, these characters can still be available elsewhere.
I was meaning it more like - if he’s gotten that popular, why it isn’t generating any spotlight (as fanservice)? I guess he got some appearances in Wan! and his own light novel, but during main plot his last activity was ~2 years ago (our real time, not manga time)

@Aislin I finally got around to reading BEAST (Or at least the first ten pages… 
)
I also got the manga for BEAST, it finally arrived. I love the artstyle so much.
It’s a lot more messy than the original artstyle (Messy as in the lines aren’t as…I can’t describe it LMAO. More cross hatching and sketch-looking? I think it works well for the darker theme of this series as well as the fact that it’s about Akutagawa. If that makes sense…
And on another note. Akutagawa got the nickame 吠えぬ狂犬. I’ve been trying to think of a good way to translate this nickname… As “The mad dog that doesn’t bark” is a bit long and doesn’t really sound very good 
Maybe “The Silent Hellhound,” or smth along those lines…

Definitely one of the best series you should definitely check out! There are a lot of scenes that will make you want to watch more until you reached the last episode haha! It is also interesting to watch how the characters are developing. Its manga series is also a good one. There are more revelations haha
