Bold kanji font on mac

A little while ago, the kanji/japanese font when I’m doing reviews on my Macbook changed to a really bold style. The thick lines make it kind of hard to read. When I do reviews on a Windows computer I don’t see this happening, so I’m assuming it’s something specific to Macs. Has anyone else encountered this/do you know how to get the font to appear at a more moderate weight again?

Do you mean on the Wanikani website? What browser do you use?

Do you want to local or web? If you want to web maybe you can use a usescript for change font-type or font-size.
