The Maine Coon is one of the largest domesticated cat breeds, standing out among other cats for its impressive size and intelligence. But regular salarywoman Saku Fukuzawa has a hard time explaining why her rescued black cat now towers over her. Yukichi is no run-of-the-mill cat; he is a masterful feline who has taken charge of the chores in the Fukuzawa household. While his master rushes to catch the train during the morning rush hour and works late into the night, the giant cat is diligently packing Saku’s lunch, cooking her meals, cleaning their home, and buying groceries.

Personal Opinion
I watched this in English a few months ago. Cats are cute, and Yukichi is both cute and a competent housekeeper. Saku is hopeless at taking care of herself because she works late. I like watching the domestic life, and there’s delicious food.

- Most of the language is about cooking, shopping, cleaning, working
- I managed to find JP subs online

Cons
- One MAL Review complained that cats are meant to be taken care of and it’s icky to have the cat be the caretaker
- Watching Saku work until 11pm and wake up at 7am is kind of depressing in a “adulting is soul crushing” kind of way
- There’s pressure from Saku’s coworkers for Saku to get married, and Saku likes her current life with Yukichi.
- Saku likes drinking, and alcohol is not appropriate for everyone.
