wow…where do I even begin?

never thought this day would come…but here we are

the pinnacle of the WK journey…level ~60~

I vividly remember signing up for WK and starting my Japanese learning journey on Dec.07/2021

and, as of today, Sept.12/2023, I have reached level ~60~

first things first, I would like to give a HUGE shout-out and thank you to all of WK staff and members for their invaluable support, encouragement, and sharing of their knowledge. without which I would not have come this far :pray:

as monumental as this achievement is, my Japanese learning journey has only just begun. I will continue to learn and master the language one day

to whomever is reading this, you.

how do you climb Mt. Fuji? one step at a time
how do you eat an elephant? one piece at a time
how do you learn kanji? one character at a time

putting one foot in front of the other, and go crushing your goals

Congrats!! How was your pace: were there any levels that surprisingly took longer than the rest?

could you say you can read anything you find in the wild? or still struggling by confusing some kanji or even not remembering some vocab?

to answer your question, my pace is quite consistent - 15 lessons per day and doing all reviews

it took some time, and once it became a habit I just kept my head down and do what I am used to do

Chrono Trigger is definitely nostalgic for me.
That does answer my question; thank you! I’m hoping to keep a similar pace. Right now I am also averaging 15/day (some days 10, others 20 depending on the difficulty of the new material).

Congratulations. I’m only at level 5 in about 500 days now :sweat_smile:. Didn’t have much time but I’m back on it since 2 weeks :slight_smile: .
