I started a level 60 thread way back in July 2020, thinking that I would get to level 60 by May 22, 2022 (Tokyo Skytree). Climbed too fast, burned out, fell down, left Wanikani for a few years.
Came back and joined a new level 60 thread in December 2023, thinking that I would get to level 60 by summer 2026 (900 days with Japanese folklore). Climbed too fast, didn’t burn out, but have a mountain of Apprentice items and a big ugly pile of leaches. Not planning to leave and restart, but also not planning to reach level 60 in the summer of 2026 any more.
So, time to slow down and enjoy the climb and not worry about how fast or how long or when will I get to the top. Level 60 will be there in 2026 or in 2027. The journey is the goal I guess.
