it is getting ok after 4-5 chapters.
The app looks great, thank you for recommendation. Now, I can listen to some short sentences at work.
But I have a small question - what can I purchase here?
My understanding is that Marugoto is an attempt to make learning japanese more similar to learning a European language. It mirrors the Common European Framework levels of A1-C2, describing what a learner can do at each stage rather than what grammar they know. I looked into it when I was first starting out and they emphasised the speaking aspect over grammar and reading. Interestingly, the school that was offering it then (SOAS in London) no longer seem to offer it so I’m not sure how popular it’s proving.
Ah, sorry, didn’t see your reply until now. You can purchase a script that will be displayed in app, like so:
You can also turn it off again, with the button in the top right corner.
Also, for those (like me) who don’t have access to a CD player: https://archive.org/details/minna_no_nihongo_Shokyu_i_2nd_edition_audio
EDIT:
And also, something I noticed only after three lessons, the answer key is at the end of textbook for Exercices B, C, Question, Small Review every 3-4 levels and Big reviews every 10 levels
