yeah; i have tried text-based mnemonics totally generated by AI. it’s hit or miss. for all of these, I figured out my own mnemonics and just tried to get the AI to do the image.
if you’re going to use chatGPT for text-based mnemonics, I recommend asking it to create you a very short story. here’s an example of prompts i’ve used:
create a short concept to connect these two items: “lip ring” and “flowers” with the target word “frustration”. make it three sentences, maximum.
Ah I see, that’s smart. I was just putting in “make a mnemonic for the kanji XXX” and it would just spew some random nonsense. Though I was using Google Gemini, which is worse than chatgpt imo.

Glad they’re helping someone else besides me. Basically I just put one up when I’ve been getting it wrong a lot. Honestly I think going through the effort of creating one is more useful than the image itself though.
