thanks to the new advanced lesson mode, it is now possible for WaniKani users to better control what they are exactly studying at a given time. Being able to modify both the size and content of new content bundles is definitely an important and welcomed step forward.
So why not move the other leg too?
Right now, the reviews can easily pile up due to unforeseen circumstances, and it can be very disheartening for users to try clean up a pile of 150 or so items clogging the review section.
It would be much less daunting a task if the user would be able to go to Advanced mode and pick the exact available reviews he or she wants to take at a given time. The rest of the reviews pile wouldn’t go anywhere, but there would be no more dozens of reviewable items from Apprentice to Enlightened waiting in one unorganized stack.
Basically this would mean that the reviews in the future wouldn’t have to be taken at a given time but, rather, from that moment onwards the reviews would be available for the user to take.
All this would again let users to have a better say on what they are studying on WaniKani and when.
