A lot can happen in a year

One whole year ago today, I signed up for this magic carpet ride we call Wanikani. During that time, I have picked up a hobby and a Jdrama addiction, traveled to Japan, ate new foods and challenged myself in ways previously not considered possible for someone like me.
While pondering all this and thinking of the year ahead, I wrote a little ditty a-la the twelve days of Christmas (see below).
