1405 days and counting

I think I only have half a dozen replies and 0 posts in the forum, but might as well celebrate this.

I’m old, I’m tired, work got in a way a bunch of times, but I managed to finish a part of something I started a couple of decades ago.
Took two years of Japanese in university, enjoyed it, was going to try and study abroad but life got in the way and my plans changed.

Post lockdown a lot changed and I had a fair bit more free time and I decided, why not spend it on something I used to enjoy, so I signed up for WaniKani back in March of 2022.

It’s been entertaining and enlightening. Definitely taught me a fair bit about time management.
Not sure what I’ll do after finishing off level 60. I have a few resources I’ve collected to go through. My listening comprehension is reasonable but I definitely can’t speak much. Sentence structure is… not great.

I’m actually 1/3 through my burned pile and I make plenty of mistakes there, so I might go through that occasionally.

Either way, it’s been fun.

It was much easier in university. I feel like you just wake up tired one day and you never really feel fully rested again
