Finished the video from yesterday. Learned a little about how the game’s grammar order resembles SVO, like English, and apparently Chinese does too.
About 37 mins of listening | Total so far: 38 hrs 35 mins
Finished Lesson 15 of Pimsleur Japanese Level 3. This marks the halfway point for the entire series of 150 lessons.
Week 7 : missed last week and am late this week, busy lately but still trying to listen to a Japanese podcast (or at least a part of one) every day. My favorite lately has been Bite Size Japanese.
- 2 hour Japanese class with prof + listening comprehension test this week, which was on keigo and other polite phrasing, using てあがる、てくれる、てもらう, cooking terminology and following recipe instructions. I always find these tests super challenging. In the week leading up to the test I listen to our textbook (Dekiru nihongo) audio files on repeat.
- Bite Size japanese Podcast : 56 minutes
- 日本語の聴解のためのPodcast : 48 minutes
- Nihongo con teppei : 16 minutes (so cute this week with his kid on the podcast haha)
- Japanese with Shun : 14 minutes
I have a presentation coming up in my Japanese class and I really need to work on my speaking skills. I always back out of doing iTalki lessons because I think it makes me nervous but I know I need the practice!
