I’ve been watching a few videos in english on the subject going deep into the systems involved in running (aerobic base, threshold, etc.) There is a lot of English word used as well but some other are more scientific and a bit intimidating like 太い血管, 毛細血管

Another weekly check-in - admittedly I wasn’t very consistent the past 10 days as I went out of town .
I saw two Japanese language movies this week (with subtitles), 銀座化粧 (directed by Naruse Mikio, 1951) & 黒い雨 (directed by Imamura Shohei,1989). 黒い雨 is definitely not an easy watch due to its subject matter (a family of hibakusha in the aftermath of Hiroshima), but I would recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese cinema.
