退ける has three different readings: しりぞけるのけるどける Of these, I believe only the first is a Joyo reading, but the other two are at least decently common; I’ve definitely run into のける in the wild, and Jisho lists it as a common word and JLPT N2 level. The meaning of のける and どける are slightly different…

I can confirm のける is a grey shake for 退ける on WaniKani.
