男優 meaning section error (maybe)

In advance, sorry for my awful english.
I notice an error in the meaning of this vocab.
There is this phrase in meaning section: over the years this word has taken on the connotation of “adult film actor” so most people would use 俳優 for “actor” now. You’ll be learning that word very soon!

But this kanji 俳優 is different from the vocab. The first look like “haiku” kanji, not the “man” kanji.

I think you may have misunderstood what that is trying to say. It’s saying that this word (男優) has a second meaning, so most people now use a different word instead when they want to talk about “an actor”. That other word is 俳優. (It’s on the same WK level.)

PS: 俳優 is about ten times more common than 男優. So if you only remember one of these two words, remember 俳優 and forget 男優
