Went to bed last night proud of myself for getting to level 21. Started level 21 today and feeling like I’m getting beat up. I know I’ll eventually be fine but my goodness, this level is true to its name
お前は…
もう死んでいる
There is a reason I keep resetting once I get to level 20 …
weird sound effects
One of the tricks I use to keep my kanji accuracy around 98% is to visualise kana inside of the kanji itself to remember the 当て字. I’m not at level 21, but as an example, here’s how I’d remember the reading for 義
I do this for a lot of kanji. Eventually I just remember what the pronunciation is and don’t need this anymore, like any mnemonic.
I have confidence you can do it. 頑張ってください。
I feel you… But being able to read as much as we are at 21 feels very good though
Edit: I don’t know why my avatar shows 16
I also went through a slump during those levels but just take it easy and stop doing lessons for a while if its too much. Then you can focus completely on learning the new ones once you know the old ones really well
I am in the situation already al level 19… help meeeeee!
Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it. Just don’t rush, don’t try to push past your limits and everything will be fine. And you’re going to learn so many useful words during these levels, that you won’t regret the effort.
Wait till you get to the 30’s
This is a good idea… I need to try it!
TAKE YOUR TIME YOU CAN DO IT
STOP LEVELLING AND FOCUS ON THE ITEMS YOU HAVE
WHOOOOO
Just a friendly reminder that it is okay to slow down! I have been progressing at 4 items a day because I’m focusing much more on my university lessons. Currently around 45+ days of level 29 but because of my extremely slow pace, it has been quite manageable even with university. There was even a prolonged period in the semester when I just didn’t do any lesson and only did reviews!
All the best :))
Thank you. I am too hard on myself to become fluent
Like many others have said here and after going through those levels myself. You’ll be fine. Take your time and all will be good. I was shook after seeing the mnemonics but after just a day, things are better.
Gotta agree with you there. Feel like I keep hitting my strides, then I miss a day or two, reviews pile up, I lose motivation and it take a couple weeks to get back on track. I think the key is to always log on and do some reviews everyday even if you don’t have much time and/or motivation.
I do the same
