So relatable! In some conversations I have in English there are these moments when I feel a certain japanese word or phrase would be a great reply, and it’s frustrating that I can’t use them because the other party doesn’t speak japanese, and the English translation would just be awkward.

I know. よそ is a foreign concept in my language. I can translate it but the translation won’t fully capture its true meaning.
