壮行 vocab item

If the question seems silly, it’s because I don’t really know Japanese, I only do WK. :slight_smile:

Is 壮行 really a common word? It’s used in WK at level 50 as a vocab item for 壮. Jisho.org lists it as common but I know their use of this tag is quite liberal and if I search for 壮行 in Google, I only see results for dictionary sites; the rest is for 壮行会 and 壮行試合 instead. Even the example sentence in WK uses 壮行会 instead.

Maybe 壮行会 would make a better vocab item for WK then?

I feel like Ive seen it a time or two maybe, so definitely not something I would call common.

Theres better words for 壮 if you ask me, so I dont know why youre sidestepping to 壮行会

壮観
壮絶
悲壮

Because, like I said, I don’t actually know Japanese. :slight_smile: I wouldn’t know if there are better words for 壮, but if there are, I’m all for using them instead.

There is 応援 and 声援 if “rousing” here means “rooting” for someone. I’ve never seen 壮行, though :frowning: .
