Chapter 65 is the first one that’s in the Harta back issues that are up for digital sale, and I always kind of shudder to picture what people joining the Harta book club that way must think flipping past it (or worse, trying to read it without any context)…

Reading it the first time stands out as a highlight in my memory! Certainly makes me think of keeping just the mage alive in an RPG in a traumatizing new light. Impressive to blend something as patently silly as the Thriller dance bit with such extremely morbid circumstances and genuine character moments for Marcille and the party.
It’s like when a party is wiped in WoW, you resurrect the healers first and they get done to work, no questions asked, maybe they have feelings about this hmm. (also fortunately I can’t think of any real world example of this)
I’m amazed by how creative the author manages to be even after 10 volumes. Given my frustration with manga series that spin their will and pad everything with copious amounts of filler, I got worried when we got to the dragon in volume 4. How could they possibly stretch that to 14 books?
Now I see that we’re only a few volumes from the end and I know I’m going to miss it when it’s done.
I haven’t been complaining yet cause I’m saving the chapter for next week, it’s in two parts again.
But I’ve peeked at later volumes and there are some that are 4 parts long, not sure if I will apply the same strategy there and take a month break
Was a great chapter. Lots of reveals (I was wondering what was the deal with wooden man!!) and great to see シスル turn mad. Now looking forward to reading today how that all unravels.

As for the expression 引きこもり, it’s pretty common in my own experience. As you can see on Jisho it can have many different spellings: 引きこもり・引き篭もり・引き籠もり・引籠もり・引籠り・引き篭り・引き籠り・引篭もり・引篭り
I personally encountered it mostly with the 引きこもり. Though recently (NANA volume 10, you know the one??) with 籠 (not posting the picture, too spoilery). とんがり帽子のアトリエ volume 5 had it too:
