Lack of furigana and funds counts me out
No one is interested :(
Contact Azuma and implore him to get his publisher to do an e-book re-release with furigana, and if he follows through, I’m absolutely in. (Or wait a few years for me to reach level 60.)
Well, she *usually* does.

Seeing as I’m still only on volume 5…
And I’ve got Aria waiting for me…
Guys, if there is no club I can’t justify buying more books
But I will be reading that either way!
I do have a recommendation that’s a good match for よつばと!'s difficulty level, but since my ABBC recommendation is currently running, I’ve been holding off on nominating something else.
Ah, don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t mind reading Azumanga Daioh. I just don’t particularly relish the idea of trying to find it. Plus, I’m not too sure how I feel about taking a sudden jump back to the earliest days of his art style.
On a slightly related note, I bought a manga back when I first started learning called リューシカリューシカ, by 安倍吉俊 (i.e. the guy who did Haibane Renmei). Like Yotsuba, the main character is a kid who speaks entirely in kana, surrounded by adults who all use kanji, but I could barely read kanji, so the main character would get herself into situations, and then the adults would come and say something and resolve everything, but I never had the faintest idea of what it was. Might be worth trying to read it again, if I could find where I put it.
I’ve occasionally considered nominating it, but I’ve never gotten around to it. Plus, I’m starting to feel that me nominating a book is a death knell for its chances of being read in the book club.
Such a tease! Please, put us out of our misery!
It must have been a while ago… it seems the book is out of print now. Amazon JP only has used copies for sale. Pity as it looks good.
You make it sound like I’m not posting about 「三ツ星カラーズ」 all the time

You know, I actually recognise those characters; I’ve seen you post them so often! LOL!
Oh, noes.
Looks like there’s ten volumes in total. I only ever bought 1-3. And 2-3 are still in their shrink wrap…
Collector’s items! You’ll make a fortune!
Digital release still has plenty in stock, though. (For now.)
Volume 15 Previews!
***spoiler alert***
Yotsuba and the beach!
Yotsuba and her Dad are off to the sea to find the ideal stone! Ena and Miura go with. Can the find a perfectly smooth and round rock?

Ohh, intriguing.
Just four more chapters (about eight to 12 more monthly releases), and they’ll have enough to compile into that 15th volume! (So, three to five more years?)
Aww. Your post gave me the impression that they were about to release volume 15…
