Can’t disagree one bit and loved your thoughts and screenshots! Yeah, this chapter was adorable - I’m really enjoying the way things are unfolding so far. I’m so invested in this one plot line though, so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out since I know there are many volumes to go!

I really almost read ahead this week because I’m enjoying this book so much… luckily I have enough other book clubs I needed to catch up on to keep me busy. So excited to reach the end of this volume though!

Wahhh this was a nice chapter!! I love getting to go back and see Hiroto and his relationship and time he spend with おばあちゃん :’)

Ugh, this story is so GOOD. I’m glad he was able to share his true feelings with somebody though, hopefully he will continue improving and will be honest with himself again

Ahhhhh, I feel so bad for both of them!! But I love these moments in the manga, the author makes the characters so believable and realistic. You feel for and understand all of the characters, and all of the nuances of the things they do!
I feel like I can’t explain it well, but the characters and story just feel very human

Chapter 16

It was so sweet that she went to buy him the cake he wanted to eat, and the first whole cake she’d bought with her own money!!

Dang, poor dude. It makes me think of Yomogi as well. He probably actually understands her situation and how she might feel, much more than others

NOOOOOOO I WAS SO WORRIED THAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN. Earlier in the rain when the car horn scared her I thought she was going to drop it then and was relieved when she didn’t

This is so real, I almost never cry about anything, but when I do it’s always stuff like this where everything crashes at once haha. But he still appreciates it so much!! :’))

And funny to end off on this note he was just hungry

Late again this week… lots of travel lately and just been hard to keep up - sorry folks!
