Discussion Guidelines
Spoiler Courtesy
Please follow these rules to avoid inadvertent ネタバレ. If you’re unsure whether something should have a spoiler tag, err on the side of using one.
- Any potential spoiler for the current week’s reading need only be covered by a spoiler tag. Predictions and conjecture made by somebody who has not read ahead still falls into this category.
- Any potential spoilers for external sources need to be covered by a spoiler tag and include a label (outside of the spoiler tag) of what might be spoiled. These include but are not limited to: other book club picks, other books, games, movies, anime, etc. I recommend also tagging the severity of the spoiler (for example, I may still look at minor spoilers for something that I don’t intend to read soon).
- Any information from later in the book than the current week’s reading (including trigger warnings that haven’t yet manifested) needs to be hidden by spoiler tags and labeled as coming from later sections.
Instructions for Spoiler Tags
Click the cog above the text box and use either the “Hide Details” or “Blur Spoiler” options. The text which says “This text will be hidden” should be replaced with what you are wishing to write. In the case of “Hide Details”, the section in the brackets that is labelled “Summary” can be replaced with whatever you like also (i.e, [details=”Chapter 1, Pg. 1”]).

Posting Advice
- When asking for help, please mention the page number, and check before posting that your question hasn’t already been asked. As the threads get longer, it becomes more convenient to use the Search function, which is located in the upper right corner of the forum. It is the magnifying glass which is near your profile picture! The best way to search is usually to type part of the sentence you are confused about, and select “in this topic”. This will show you all posts within the current thread which has that string of text.
- Be sure to join the conversation! It’s fun, and it’s what keeps these book clubs lively! There’s no such thing as a stupid question! We are all learning here, and if the question has crossed your mind, there’s a very good chance it has crossed somebody else’s also! Asking and answering questions is a great learning opportunity for everyone involved, so never hesitate to do so!

Volume 4 begins - and at our new pace of two chapters a week! Make sure to get started early on this one if you’re not accustomed to reading at this pace!

Admittedly I showed 0 restraint upon realizing that the latter of this week’s chapters was a 2 parter and read a bit into next week’s reading as well. I regret nothing. What a great set of chapters to start us off

I’m on a trip, and caught up on last week’s chapters and this week’s chapters at the airport and on the plane.
Chapter 27
Well, at least Ishikawa is good at reading Yomogi’s thoughts when she’s irritated with him 
And they’re each broadening their perspectives based on the other. But a clutter queen and minimalist don’t seem like they’d get along well together.
Chapter 28
I can’t believe he just invited people to someone else’s party! Akari, are you sure you want to go out with this guy???
Chapter 29
I’m glad they all hit it off together. The other group still needs to apologize for abandoning Natsumi when she was drunk though. Once they do that, I’m cool with them. I suspect there was some kind of misunderstanding.
Chapter 30
Parent stuff always hits me in the feels. I’m glad Natsumi was able to be honest with her parents, and that they accepted her decision.
I’m here y’all! Partway through chapter 28, and I just noticed 1th place in Mario Kart.

Sorry for the late post - was feeling a bit under the weather this week. I’ll also be posting quite a few days late next week as I’ll be off the grid for a few days and unable to post. If someone would like to post the weekly post in my stead feel free!!

What a lovely set of chapters - excited to see how the volume rounds off next week!
Chapter 35 is only like 8 pages, so I’m just finishing the volume today. Nothing super interesting in chapters 34 or 35, but I liked 33 a lot. I want to see more of realtor girl, though I do find it weird that she shows up to do like basic repairs and inspections.

Last chapter of the volume!! And a short one too 
Admittedly I could have done a bit better job planning this volume - so hard when I don’t want to spoil myself. Will take a better look for Volume 5 starting next week. Hope everyone enjoys the light week this week and congrats all on making it to the end of another volume

Although short, I quite liked the ending to the volume! Both this and the penultimate chapters were realllly cute!!
I would suggest trying to pair up two parters into the same week if possible, but it’s never a big deal since people can always read ahead a chapter if they want. Doesn’t look like there is one in volume 5 though.
I guess I’ll have to place another manga order in about a month since I only bought through volume 5.
