それでも歩は寄せてくる ・ When will Ayumu Make his Move? - Volume 11 Thread

A bit early, but question on the ad for the next book!

Is that 攻め? That’s a bit of a tougher one handwriting wise. :joy:

We’re rounding out the volume this week with chapters 第148局 and 第149局, as well as the おまけ.

Kinda off topic

At first I wasn’t sure if I should post it, because I don’t think it has any relation to the story. But yesterday I read chapter 145 (yes I’m a bit behind :sob: ) and there was this ayumu look a like character …

Found this and it reminded me so much of ayumu!

Makes me think a bit of Takeru’s similarities to Kenji (from the author’s earlier series).

The primary difference is that Kenji’s hair isn’t shaved in the back like Takeru’s.

I'm sure many people can relate to Urushi here

Me this weekend when I realized how many book clubs I joined without paying attention, again. :joy:

Between starting up the last volume of Orange and the ABBC and BBC starting, it feels like I’m suddenly spending a lot of time on book clubs!

(Then I see mention of Nausicaa being nominated for ABC, and I’m telling myself no, no way, don’t even think about it.)

I realized exactly the position I had put myself in when I saw that if I didn’t wrap up some things I was reading, my “Currently Reading” list in Natively was going to hit double-digits. I managed to knock it down to where I’m only reading 9 things at the moment.

Well. 9 things that I can track on Natively anyway. I’m still playing some games in Japanese too.

I should definitely try and ease off. On the bright side, next week is the last week of 神様, and then there will be a break there, and with ルリドラゴン on hiatus, that’s at least two where I’m not committed over the long term.

Takagi-san and Ayumu remain my safe spaces, at least. Long-term commitment, but at least both are easy on my time. :joy:

I’m definitely getting the sense that 僕が愛したすべての君へ is going to be my biggest timesink.

Join us in the land of double-digits.

That just reminded me that I’ve also wanted to read Kunoichi and the glasses one. Better go get them added to the list before I forget again (but not start them yet, I swear. :joy:)

Coincidentally, those are the two I’m intentionally taking my time on, so I don’t have as long a wait for the next volume.

Here's a random image to make this post partially on-topic.

A bit late, but I usually like to read books with different difficulty simultaneously. That way I can decide what level I feel like reading on any day.
Ayumu probably is the easiest thing I’m reading these days. :star: Love that, because it’s kind of relaxing.

Can’t imagine joining that many book clubs though. I barely manage to keep up with the ones I want to! :joy:

I’m starting to feel the strain, so I definitely think I’ve found my upper limit for the time being. :joy:

I really like Maki! Usually she always loves to tease Urushi, but at times like this she actually saves her. It feels like she is a very good friend!
(Although Urushi should just have said that she doesn’t like spicy food…)
