I tried searching for it on my iPhone… I guess it’s iPad only? Couldn’t find it… Would be great if I could read them on my phone, I do have a few items there I believe.
What region are you? It’s definitely in the us App Store for iPhone but you have to search “ebook Japan” with that spelling and the space to find it (“ebooks japan” and “ebookjapan” don’t find it).

Hm, nope, setting the VPN isn’t enough. Though my internet is fooled to thinking it is in the US, my app store still shows me my normal selection (I get up apps for Norwegian book stores’ version of ebook apps). I probably have to change in settings as well, which might be more complicated… I remember I did it once, to get Pokemon Go from Australia before it was released here

There is definitely an iPhone App. To change the store, you have to change your settings
I am in Hungary, and I could download the ipad app and the android app too! it works great, syncs the books I had bought on ebookjapan
In the German app store it is called ebiReader - maybe that helps you find it in Norway as well…

I eventually found it because Jisho suggested the Wikipedia article on the US submarine USS Kamehameha, where I learn it was named after Kamehameha I - I then google image searched him and found photos of his statue where he’s wearing the same outfit as しろくまさん in that panel… 
I haven’t reached this one yet, and I have no idea! Hopefully the context helps?

As a beginner I think I would personally like the google docs to only contain the kanji on the book, that way it is a bit more focused and do not go off on a tangent!
As a beginner I would like to have literally everything in the vocab list 
Starting to wish I’d gotten myself the older print book - if the font is larger that makes it a bit easier to read as a beginner!
