This story reminds me that one of my other graded readers also had a けちくらべ story that was quite good. I liked that the explanation talked a little about rakugo.
Had to take a lunch and dog-walking break earlier, and now I have to take a “social activity” break. I’m over halfway through the book, though! I think I can finish it today.

Yeah, I am totally capable of finishing off ANY amount of bacon all by myself. Plantron is like the rabbit in my snowman story who ate the snowman’s carrot nose!

Whew, taking another break. I just finished chapter 4 of No. 6, and there’s only one more chapter left!! I can’t believe I’m so close to finishing; I didn’t think I could make it this far. 
I’m going to take another break here; I can feel my energy slowly beginning to flag, and I really want to finish today! So I think I’m going to go energize myself with some boba tea.

It’s a little late in the day so my 24 hours is going to continue through most of tomorrow as I had a preexisting commitment this afternoon, but kicking off now.
To warm up I’m going to pick something easy and finish off the Pokemon Special volume 1 which is being read by the just-finished BBC. This is a digital read for now.

Got a later start this morning than I planned but that was fine…no super hard goals… just pressing forward and having fun…
so far I have been working on GLT vol 3…almost done with it… but need a quick break, get some snacks and something to drink… so far this morning read about 1 hr 40 min, 91 pages (4111 char per mokuro) … will finish vol 3 in a bit… halfway through this bingo square that ended up as an upper right corner square even… blocks 3 bingos
for sure won’t break any records this time… but do have a couple hours or so left to read so… not quite done…

Chapter 37 of よつばと！is done. It was actually tough going near the beginning but loosened up considerably as the chapter went on.
It’s quite nice to alternate reading with household chores, but it’s already 4 pm here and I am only 3 chapters in. 4 to go. I can do it!

I ended up starting a little after noon today so I think I’ll change my reading time to be from noon today until noon tomorrow. A short trip also ended up being extended by two days and I don’t have 晴れ、時々くらげを呼ぶ with me so I had to change my reading plans slightly.
To that end, so far I’ve read the last 97 pages of VTuberなんだが配信切り忘れたら伝説になってた in 3h 30 min and will now see how far I can get in 負けませんからと言い張る顔のいい女の子を、全力で屈服させる百合のお話

I ended up starting my 24 hours at 2:30pm which was a lot later than I initially planned, but it means I’ve got a lot of time tomorrow to see how much reading I can complete in total!
Been focusing on getting my main goal of finishing Pokemon done today, and it’s so so close, just two more chapters to go.
When that’s finished my plan is to read a chapter or two of 仄見える少年 and then move onto my non-manga book. I ended up changing this to 呪ワレタ少年 because I’ve found myself reading a lot of supernatural stuff recently so I’m hoping that this will mean less new words and the ability to read quicker.

101 pages in total read in about 4 hours and a half.
My today’s progress was greatly hindered by the fact that I had to unexpectedly leave the house for quite a while…
Although, now that I think of it, even if that didn’t happen, I probably wouldn’t have been able to read much more. Maybe, I’d get one or two more hours of reading – anything more than that would probably be too tiring for me 
Anyway, participating was very fun, huge thanks to @taiyousea さん for organizing it!

Finished ルックバック and read through the Nobel Prize winner section of 366. Struggled through several pages of physics vocab that I don’t even know in English, but now onto 20th century major events so hopefully it’ll be easier now
