i just started WK and i can say that radicals accept typos because i had a typo on one and it accepted it. (women instead of woman)
Mine is “mediterrenean” never got it right lmao. As a bonus I also forgot “sea” part so it’s wrong XD
@Mods one for the blocklist.
That’s how I failed Pacific ocean. I typed Pacific ![]()
Is it, though? Because it’s not like Yokohama Prefecture is even a thing. ![]()
Somehow I don’t think the prefecture part was the issue here. I’d personally prefer to be corrected before I travelled to Japan and discovered my hotel reservation was 400 miles away .
Sorry, run that one past me again?

Oh, and no, I don’t plan to do that on foot, my Google maps planner is still set to it after my walk last week.
But anyway, my point is that Yokohama is not the name of a prefecture, so one would not reasonably expect anyone to give it as an answer. You may as well add every Japanese city that fits the vowel pattern to the block list.
Mmm…I’m going to skip adding this one to the block list for now because I can’t imagine too many other people confusing 横浜 with 岡山. I’m hoping you won’t be making this same mistake over and over ![]()
@Mods Maybe not right? It is a valid definition for 広げる, which makes me think it shouldn’t be OK.
As long as you were thinking “to expand intransitively” it’s safe ![]()
We’ll take a look at this one! Thanks for pointing it out
I have been doing this wrong for a while now
@Mods
Added to the block list!
Oh boy. That brings back memories. Of this:
Maybe you could come up with a mnemonic for the English spelling… like, maybe… it’s a phenotype with men on?
