P.S. I just found out that the same algorithm to allow typos is used on the WK search function. I looked up “attendance” and “absence” came up as well. So…that’s why I always get a bunch of words/kanji that are not what I’m looking for in the search bar
Edit: it may just be that “attendance” is part of “nonattendance”. Further testing is needed
This wasn’t accepted, but I was just reviewing 后 and I knew it meant “empress,” but sometimes I get excited and start typing without considering if it’s asking for the meaning or reading, and so I typed out “kou” (it was asking for the meaning), and my brain recognized that something was off, so it filled in the blank with, "Oh, she must be wanting to type “KOUICHI.”
I mean, close enough, right? I feel like Koichi should be an accepted answer there.
I feel like I shouldn’t have gotten his one? I made sure to get the reading wrong so it could go back into my queue but I was surprised it went through.
