SHould this be accepted? it comes from kanji

Yeah it can also mean temporary as “for a short time/provisionally”
Weblio definition:
1 一時の間に合わせに物事をするさま。暫定的に。「—糊(のり)で補強しておく」
The other usage is much more common in my experience though.

This is surely wrong:

Why? https://www.wanikani.com/vocabulary/南米

“South America”, looks good(-ish)?

Cos the second katakana is “fu” rather than “me”.

Wanikani here is just using USA geography where it’s pretty much “here” and “those other places” I suppose.

I can’t object to your comment on US geography, but I’m not at all clear on what you’re trying to say about about WaniKani here. Because the correct answer to this item is “South Africa”. The C/K typo aside, that’s only two letters different from “South America”, so the “close enough” detector is accepting it.

Was a joke about the general lack of geographical knowledge in the US and A, where it wouldn’t shock me to see someone confuse South America and South Africa on a map. WK just happened to be the vehicle for that joke.

What on earth is that font? (In a good way)

It’s a userscript called Jitai which randomises the font used by WK. I can’t tell you which font in specific that is though!

TFW you do WK on a Friday night and you’re totally “whittled down”

This was legitimately a typo, so I’m glad it accepted it, but…

@Mods is this considered ok? For me it’s quite different. Could be blocked I guess.

No, I would consider that not valid as specialty isn’t an adverb. Added to the block list, thanks!
