Your worst typos WaniKani has accepted

Eek indeed! I’ll get that changed right away!

Good question, I’ll put this through to our content team and let you know what they say, it might end up being a case of making がつ into a “grey shake” answer.

Update: We ended up adding a “grey-shake” prompt if you were to type がつ for 合 now.

Umm… ???

It’s late, and my brain went “to go beyond” but my fingers did not get the memo.

I’d say this should probably go on the block list but… you don’t accidentally learn this.

for ones like this always mention @Mods so they can see whether it should be added to the block list

Thanks, added!

I’m fairly certain that the fuzzy logic used on the English meaning will allow 童話 to be defined as “hairy tail” but I haven’t messed up that badly yet.

So I went for it:

WTF? :thinking::flushed:

Not many typos recentyl so I just stored them for a bit.
Edit: and then immediately a typo while posting this XD.

Oh boy I fround at that one.

I clicked enter before even typing the last word XD

For any that give a coherent result, it’s probably a good idea to ping @Mods.

Just a little testing, but perhaps it matters @Mods【LV1-5】Do you know how to answer 何人ですか?

I believe it warns correctly for Reading, though.

Execute me pls
executeme

“Execute me pls”

LOL

Hey polv! I just checked and なにじん is also marked incorrect. Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. I’ll go ahead and make a ticket for this to see if we want to add a warning for the reading and meaning.

In contrast, for 暑い, “hot weather” is an accepted answer.

edit:oops I didn’t mean to make this a reply

always a good idea to tag @Mods when something like this comes up so they can fix it

friend of mine had this one that was pretty funny

This isn’t really a typo, I’m just very confused.
Apparently, this is just another meaning of the word, but it sure came as a surprise to me.
