You didn't learn that reading with this kanji…

Quite often for the vocabulary reading we have this nice bit:
“Since this word consists of a kanji with hiragana attached, you can bet that it will use the kun’yomi reading. You didn’t learn that reading with this kanji, so here’s a mnemonic to help you”

Is there a way to get rid of it? It’s repetitive and makes you skim over to the actual mnemonic…

Would be nice. It is a little clunky. They could confess to murder in it and I would never realize.

Well, humans can get used to it A LOT of things. That doesn’t mean they make sense or that there isn’t room for improvement :wink:
