When studying Kanji to you actually check how common it is?

I made a resource where I aggregated public frequency ranking datasets (such as google, wikipedia, twitter, netflix) so I can quickly gauge how relevant the kanji is, and it gives me motivation to remember it. Curious if knowing how common a kanji is helps other people psychologically as well…

Cool site. It took me some time to realize the outline corresponds to the JLPT level and the inner color is a representation of the frequency. Fun to browse though :smiley:
