When did the "spikes" radical get tall?

I had a similiar experience when they just had changed it I also thought I was suffering from Mandela but it was changed =)

Some Radical Character Images Replaced

Hi everyone Just a heads-up that we’ve gone through replacing some of the images we used to represent radicals with their equivalent unicode characters. This is because characters load more quickly than images, and look more consistent with other radicals. Unlike images, you can also copy and paste them if ever you want to. Plus, it’s just generally considered good practice to use unicode characters whenever possible. The following radicals now have unicode characters rather than images…
