Just a question regarding the blank boxes in the top right of panel 2 on page 15. Is that supposed to represent the passage of time, or act sort of like a “blah, blah, blah”, or another meaning I might be missing?
Questions about a page go on the thread for that page’s week so that they are all together and easier to find.
Yes! I would “translate” it as “Some time later…” or something like that
Yep, it’s a standard manga technique to indicate that some time has passed, and we’re now in a different scene.
Yay, finally started reading. And… I love this story already!!! Loving the melancholy vibe even just in the beginning, meeting Frieren’s friends and knowing she will outlive them because she’s an elf.
As soon as I read アイゼン and saw his picture, all I saw was:

Wow guess I’m too late but I LOVE the tone, setting, and mood of the first few pages. Reading through the entire thread was super helpful and fun too. I can’t wait to catch up before ya’ll begin the 5th volume!
