[Userscript] WaniKani Dashboard Level Progress Detail 1.0+

Is someone still maintaining this script?

Oh my god… I had no idea what I was doing but got it fixed <3

Sorry about the delay, I’ll be pushing an update momentarily.

If this kind of thing happens again, please make an issue on the GitHub repo so I’ll get an email notification.

Thanks for the tag @Hubbit200

Sorry again about the delay. Thank you all for experimenting with how to fix it.

I have pushed 1.3.0 now. Can you please check and see if I introduced any issues?

Edit: 1.3.1 has also been pushed to make the code nicer, such as not relying on edge-case behavior of the slice method.

Thanks for the update! Any chance you could add a tiny bit more padding in slim mode? I do like slim mode making it all thinner and closer together but right now the text is overlapping the bars a bit…

I think the padding is also missing from “non-slim mode”:

@UInt2048 Thanks for the fixes!

Yeah, you’re right, that’s a regression. I’ll look into it tomorrow.

@Hubbit200 @HA472 I pushed 1.3.2 and 1.3.3.

You’ll find settings apply instantly now, and styling has been updated so it should look better now!

Thank you, that’s much better!
Just to be overly picky - and only if you have a spare moment at some point - might it look a bit better to shift the numbers down by 2px (with bottom: -2px; probably) so they line up with the bottom of the white lines? It looks a bit awkward to have the numbers virtually touching the progress bars. So from this:

How does 1.3.4 look to you?

Edit: There’s a bug in 1.3.4, use 1.3.5 instead

That looks a lot better, thank you!

uh… I got no idea what’s wrong but it isn’t showing at all for me. I turn every other script except open framework off and it’s still not showing. Oo
It was fine yesterday evening, but didn’t show this morning. I updated to the current version 1.3.5 but it’s still not showing.

WK updated the site again, so I had to change the progressComponent constant (update to 1.4.0).

This constant is supposed to point to the div that directly contains the progress bar, current level radicals, and current level kanji.

Thanks for the report on GitHub, @HA472.

I’ve pushed 1.4.1 to add spacing after the last progression.

Thanks! The spacing between the unmodified progress bar & dashboard level progress bars looks great.

Just checking because this is my favorite script, has anyone else’s be down the last day?

Yup - I assume the latest WK update must’ve broken something @UInt2048 ?
