Hi guys. Does anyone know how to type furigana using the Microsoft IME? Thanks in advance.

I don’t think furigana is something handled at the level of an IME. There should be settings within applications that can display furigana, like a word processor, for doing so.
If you want to know how to add furigana to things you post here on WaniKani, it’s a bit of a manual process involving tags like below.
漢字
<ruby>漢字<rt>かんじ</rt></ruby>

Aye, Microsoft Word has a button in the toolbar for adding furigana.

It would be nice if someone built a Discourse plugin so the editor could do most of the work for you. But I don’t really feel like building it myself…

How do you type furigana on WaniKani mobile?
By WaniKani mobile do you mean on the forums? It’s no different between mobile and desktop since it’s just HTML tags. See the ruby text Leebo put in his post.
