Forgive me if this has already been mentioned in this thread, but I can not find it so I am posting it.
For me, the bottom of the settings menu is a bit cuttoff. I can’t scroll, nor can I resize my window (in any context of the app, which is likely fine).
There already is an option to include or exclude WK vocabulary when you select JLPT mode, however new words won’t appear in the order you mentioned. I’ll keep that in mind when I work on the next update, thanks for your suggestion.
Left-click anywhere in the window and move the mouse up or down to scroll. Scrollbars are hidden by default, I’ll make them always visible in the next update.
How do I type the small Katakana used for combination sounds?
Currently it’s trying to teach me “Party” but I can’t actually find any way to enter the “ティ”
First it showed no lessons available despite me not doing any lessons today (or yesterday since it was offline), so I raised the max so I would have my normal amount of daily lessons.
Then I tried to start doing my reviews, about 88 of them. And each time I get to do about 5-6 reviews then the program crashes, completely just shuts off instantly. I restarted it a couple of times and each time I got to do about 5-6 reviews before it crashed.
What should I do? Re-install it? Log in and out? (Can you do that? I’ve never done it.)
Audio seems to be causing a lot of crashes on the Windows desktop application (and Android app) after the server maintenance, as far as could glean from my desktop error log. @Rakantor would you like my full log?
Yeah audio seems to be causing the crashes. @Calamaryllis I won’t need your full log, thanks. I didn’t change anything at all code-wise so I assume it’s either another server config issue or something went wrong during the transfer of the audio files …
To prevent more crashes, I’m going to disable audio until I figure out a solution.
On the main screen, under the purple box for reviews, there is a smaller purple box that says “mixed.” If you click that, you can pick if you want just JP → EN or vice versa.
