Whoa! People here are super. I’m on level 11 and has 100 backlogs of my vocab. How do you guys managed to to this? Sorry if this was already asked.
- How many vocabs in a day?
- How long to level up?
- How many reviews are normal in a day?

I generally just do 25 lessons every day (which includes radicals, kanji and vocab), and that works out perfectly fine for me.
7d 0h (pretty much max speed)
Levels 1-14 I had like 200 every day on average, but that recently went down to about 180 every day. Note that I haven’t started burning items yet.

I do my vocab lessons before I do kanji lessons. That way I reach 0 lessons before I level up and new ones come 
As for the pace it depends on how much time I want to spend doing reviews everyday. At the beginning of my journey I was fine with doing a lot of reviews, but now I prefer to have more time for reading so I do only 6 lessons a day. Reviews multiple times a day when possible, otherwise at least once or twice.

Just joined (level 4) but I’ve been managing to keep up this streak so far, let’s see how difficult it will get… I try to keep my apprentice items at less than 100 and it’s been working great so far.
(I have some previous experience with Kanji and vocab so that’s been helping for the first few levels but I want to use wanikani to really drill kanji and get them down)

I do kanji and radicals as soon as they appear. I was spacing the vocab out but I realised last level that us actually better just to do them all at once as soon as they appear. Then you get immediate practice with the kanji you just learned and when you level up your apprentice items drop to very few, about 20 or so.
Don’t try to optimise anything or keep to a regular schedule, usually have max 150 reviews in the morning and a bunch more in the evening, but also days with pretty much no reviews at all. Around 8 days per level.

Thanks a bunch. I also do radicals and kanjis first, most of the time the vocabs are left out in the cold.

I’m level 13 now. I have a ton of lessons to learn, but I thought I’d post now and again in a few days when I’m all caught up. I haven’t been that motivated to study, but I’ve still managed to keep up with Bunpro and Wanikani.
