Streak of 7 - I almost missed it because when I was 0/0 I did some reviews before taking a screenshot. I passed a kanji and new lessons showed up. The heck! I made those lessons for the sake of the screenshot.

First half of level 35 cleared.
Took a week to do reviews before starting this level.

And I did, indeed. It took me only 4 days, but it came at a cost. I had to do 21-22 lessons every day, which is really tiring for me. Especially now, that mnemonics aren’t as straightforward and effective anymore as in the first 10 levels, this really took some willpower. Level 11 is a bit harder in that regard, too, since it has more lessons in the beginning than most other levels. So on one hand it feels nice to have pushed through that and to have cleared so much of the vocabulary already, but I fear that it will come back to haunt me eventually. I should be able do handle it though.

Don’t make fun of me but for the first time today I hit the not yet option at the end of the lessons. I just wanted to take a screen shot. Then I hit next and discovered that it loops infinitely!
Because my lessons are set on automatically speaking the vocab with different voice actors I realised I can quickly go through the lessons and see and hear the vocab a few times in quick succession with very lil effort (I’m big on lil effort y’see).
I’m pleased with this late discovery! For vocab, it’s great.

Leveled up at 3pm yesterday. Missed one of my alarms for the mid-morning reviews, so I lost an hour on this level.

hoo barely made it this time. Was about to get it a few days ago but then I guru’d like 20 kanji in a day and suddenly I had a huge pile of lessons. Finally finished chipping away at them

About a month ago, I shed 1,300 reviews and finally got down to 0. Since then, I’ve been going to bed almost every night with 0 reviews. I’ve consistently done lessons, but hadn’t actually gotten them down to 0 until now. It’s been months since I was last at 0/0. Feels good to be back and consistently keeping up with Wanikani these past couple months. I’m not far from Level 20… that will be my next big achievement.
