yeah that helped brighten one of the worst weeks I’ve had in years…
didn’t seem overly wordy if I think back…probably about the same sort of stuff from the first vol…when Nishikata gets in his own head 
… more words than normal but some of the chapters have been like that here and there…
edit… still beats death note (haven’t started this weeks reading for that yet)

Also, by how easily she falls for Takagi’s teasing, it should be obvious by now she’s Nishikata’s daughter
And she then tries again, doomed to fail hahaha

All right, Takagi vs Yukari comparison time!
(I have to be careful that I don’t share too many pages.)
I love that we get to see the fall of Mina’s spirit here.
In Yukari Land, we see it quite a bit later, over at Takagi’s return trip.

It seemed to me like there was an error in the text of the Takagi-san version:
マラソンで勝った方が負けた方の言うこと聞くって勝負するだけだよ
It seemed to me like the 勝った方 and the 負けた方 should be reversed. Your screenshot of the Yukari-chan version is consistent with how I thought it should be.

I figured the marathon chapter for both versions must have been done at the same time, but apparently not. The Takagi-san version was originally published in 2016, and the compiled volume came out in 2017. The Yukari version’s compiled volume came out at the end of 2019.
There is no reprint information on my digital copy. @shuly, does your say anything near the very last page about a reprint with a more recent date?
