Welcome to the Spy x Family Offshoot Book Club! [image] This is an offshoot club for the Spy x Family - we read volume 1 with the Intermediate Book Club If you want to take part, just buy the book and join in the discussion! We also recommend setting this thread to ‘watching’ so that you get noti…

So it’s now confirmed for release on 4/9. If everyone’s happy, I’ll post the next thread that Saturday, so 7/9. Btw @fyrember , I reread my last post and it sounds a bit passive aggressive, wasn’t intended, think I was tired!

Hahaha no worries, it was indeed 3 posts above, just hadn’t seen it, I knew you didn’t mean anything by it

And volume 14 is here! [image] Spy x Family volume 14 thread Book Clubs Welcome to Volume 14 of Spy x Family! [image] I plan to keep one thread per volume, with a weekly post checking participation etc. |Home Thread| Spy x Family Offshoot Schedule Week…

And I’ve finally got round to posting the light novel thread! [image] Spy x Family light novel thread Book Clubs We’re planning to read the light novel while waiting for the next volume of the manga to be released. I’m planning a fairly slow pace for selfish …

Yeah, I think I seriously battled through volume 1 (it was my first read with the IBC). Kind of strange I decided to run the offshoot club, as I still struggled a lot with the early volumes. Anyway, I’m planning to start the thread for volume 15 next week.

Honestly I still struggle with it, lots of words I don’t know, but at least the furigana helps to look them up (unlike non-furigana titles, I’m talking about you ふたつのスピカ). I’m good for starting next week!

And volume 15 is here! The chapters seem fairly short, which tbh suits me given the number of clubs I’m currently in. Will hopefully help those who wait a while to order their copy. [image] Spy x Family volume 15 thread Book Clubs Welcome to Volume 15 of Spy …
