we’re totally in the same boat then! I’ll try to read it this weekend, too. I have an exam coming up in 2 weeks so if for some reason I don’t manage that’s why, but I’ll be on it before long!

Ok so they just tie him up to a chair and basically waterboard him with a spray can, expected
He’s doing his trademark “フンフンフンフン” sound effect while warming up!
I prefer in the anime when he makes that literal sound, sounds great
桜木 diving for the ball into kantoku is beautifully presented
It’s the debut of アンビリーバブル！ Possibly my favorite catchphrase from the show.

As promised it’s Slam Dunk day! I’m back in the game and picked this up again 
after quite a break… I’m feeling all nostalgic and had soooo much fun reading Slam Dunk again 
After a long break and seeing more manga in the meantime - I appreciate the art in Slam Dunk so much more. It’s absolutely top

I really like the way 桜木’s nerves are shown with the narrowing of his view. When Rukawa kicks him over I feel like it was Rukawa doing him a favour and realising that was the only way to jolt him out of it, but maybe he really did just want to kick him and call him an idiot
