Yeah, that’s common for things that contain elements that were simplified for the jouyou set, but don’t belong to the jouyou set themselves.
The right side element is this kanji, where you can see the modern/simplified form and the traditional form below. Since 噌 isn’t a jouyou kanji, there are no rules about whether the right side should be simplified or not.
Also, it’s often the case when you see traditional forms randomly, it’s a sign that your device might be using Chinese fonts for certain things, as well.
