Read a bit on my laptop. I like reading on it because I can flip it sideways and then it’s almost like reading on a tablet. Otherwise the font would be too small if the screen was normal.
Went on a car trip with mom today and ran out of windshield wiper fluid for the first time since I got the car last summer (I don’t drive often). And it’s my first car, so in my lack of experience I didn’t know how to open the hood(!). So at the parking lot with newly-bought wiper fluid in hand, not knowing how to open hood, I ended up asking friendly-looking elderly man in the neighboring car at the parking lot if he could help me. He was nice about it and helped out. Seemed like he thought it was a funny situation And now I know how to do next time :3
Another play session of 牧場物語 after a long day. I thought this one would be a free day where I could just casually go about my farm life, but it ended up being a huge exposition day and I spent most of the time reading and looking up grammar points. Stopped at the part where my day opened up, so maybe I’ll pick that up after I finish the final chapters of ギャルと恐竜1 tomorrow.
I’m thinking of reading something else after I finish this book. That won’t be tomorrow because I have long car trip driving back home.
And I need a new routine of posting in the evening at some time o’clock (earlier than right before going to bed) and if I read more after that it gets carried over to the next day. Then I won’t have to worry about falling asleep and not being able to post. うん、そうしよう
Another book complete, and my first WK book club completed! Well, I still need to make a post, but I’ll do that tomorrow. I did struggle quite a bit with some of the grammar in the second to last chapter, so I’m looking forward to checking the thread for info. I did look up a few points in my grammar reference which is proving to be money well spent!
I’m going to miss this series. I do want to keep reading it, but I think I’ll take a break from it until I feel a bit more equipped to tackle the slang on my own. I am signed up for the next ABBC and also the BBC, and I can’t wait for both to start! …but for now I’ll go pass out as I’m exhausted from spending most of the day pulling weeds in my garden.

I played more FFVII Rebirth the Barret and Dean story part was awesome. Now we have a buggy and can drive around. Yay!
I continued to play the second detective game running around and searching for clues.
It’s been a few days since I last updated so since I don’t remember how much I read each day, I’ll just write where I’m up to in the books I’m reading.

Reading this has been a lot more emotional than I thought it’d be (in a good way) as I relate to a lot of what Ado writes about and has experienced growing up. It’s really awesome to learn so much about my absolute favourite person like this, and in the original language nonetheless!
ストロベリー • パニック 第一巻 (up to 11%)
I started this book yesterday and despite only being 40 pages into it, it’s one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read so far. The writing style is more poetic than what I’m used to, but that also makes it a beautiful read, and I already feel very emotionally invested in the characters, which I think is one of the signs of a good book. I’m thinking I’ll probably read this for the readathon next week alongside some more 安達としまむら
This is a really good idea! I think I’ll give it a go for a week or so to see if it helps (I hope you don’t mind me stealing your idea うふふ) since I’m not the best at remembering to post
