武州公秘話
巻之四 - Completed this section, so that completes volume four! I misjudged how much more I had left to read, it was only a paragraph or so.
巻之五 - Made a start on the first section of volume five.
Found this word that I don’t think I’ve seen before: 輿入れ [こしいれ] (Marriage into a family; wedding)

Seigi offers Richard a bite of his sandwich off his fork. Earlier, he moves so he’s sitting between Richard and the employees who are openly ogling him, and then when he sees people trying to sneak pictures of Richard from a distance he wonders if part of why he chose Japan is because the pickup culture is smaller there than in say the U.S. or Latin countries, so I’ve been thinking about him purposely (and purposefully) behaving in a way that could be easily construed as them being together during this case (Richard points out how it looks, and Seigi’s like, “As long as it keeps people from bothering you with their attempts to flirt, I don’t care if they think we’re together,” and then Richard immediately needs to go find something else to do lol), but he really, really does not have to do it on purpose. He’s just like that. I did not forget who we’re dealing with here, but oml. Literally right after I started thinking about it, too!
I was thinking of taking another break from JR to read one or more of my new fantasy novels (not arrived yet) after I’ve finished this volume, but I think I might need to anyway to take a break from Seigi being Seigi. I am going to lose my gotdamn mind. Has he gotten worse this volume? I feel like he’s gotten worse.
Super busy few days. Still showing up for my studies but reading token amounts. Still, I’m doing some. Tomorrow more.
February 19
More 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡 but the end is in sight. I finished the rest of the last dungeon. We got answers for most of the open questions. While I reached the final boss I had no time to beat it.
The game has a too idealistic view on democracy. People talking to each other and finding a solution to problems together may work in the world of the game but it doesn’t work in the society we live in. Democracy may be a wonderful thing for the people, who benefit from it but if you are on the receiving end of it you will think differently. Of course it would be even worse if we were ruled by experts.
February 20
I killed the end boss and are done with 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡. The ending was nice ロイド saw his brother again for a short moment キーア was rescued and lost her powers. マリアベル said there was nothing left to do for her, she left to join Ouroboros. It seems pretty much every one can become a member of Ouroboros. Maybe I should also join some evil organization. Every one understood that the future for Crossbell may be harsh but every one believed if they work hard they may rescue Crossbell. Of course we will see them again in Trails of Reverie but before that I must finish Trails to Cold Steel 3 and 4 first.
While the game was not bad it was not as good as Trails from Zero imho. There was way too much filler. Language wise it was harder than Trails from Zero because of the topics talked in the game.The difficult level was N2+. I think I will take a break from the Legend of Heroes games for now.
Feb 15th-21st
Reached July in P3R. The more I read, the more freedom I feel… Dont know how to describe it. Maybe I really needed that challenge. 
Day 52:
Chapter 5 of からかい上手の高木さん volume 5. Pretty tired so I missed more than usual but still enjoyed it.

Only read a few pages per day last few days. Will get back into my routine on Monday. I’m enjoying Yotsuba. In particular the long sentences are always conjugated in a way that I never see in traditional learning materials. Real Japanese! I’ve also dropped to 10 lessons per day on Wanikani. I think I’ll continue that for a while. Might take me 2 weeks per level. The amount of reviews has reduced substantially. So I’m feeling like it’s more of a slow and steady rhythm. I’m still enjoying all my activities and that’s the main thing!

Today, I felt better than I did last night, but I was definitely still out of it until this evening. Took a big hearty nap, did housework, and made dinner between sessions of 牧場物語 and ギャルと恐竜. I probably could have done more actual studying but I don’t feel bad because I read so much today. There is a bit of running around and farming stuff I’m doing in 牧場物語, but it’s honestly not that much compared to the tutorials and long introductory scenes for each NPC I’ve been seeking out.
Anyway, today started with a big animal raising tutorial that was quite long. I spent some time looking through items in my inventory and the town shop after to figure out what kind of consumables there are, and made a few discoveries about recipes there. I want to say I found 3ish cutscenes today, which are nice because each character has a different speaking style. I’m finding this game charming and easy to keep engaged with.
Anyway, we’re coming up on the final week of February, which doesn’t bode well for my 6 completed manga goal. I think if I finish かわずや２this week and push for something else, I’ll be satisfied. I’m already at 30 hours of reading time this month, and I’ve still a week to go!

It’s getting easier to get through the reading, still a challenge but less lookups and faster recognition. So starting this week I’m going to step things up a bit.
Added a new book to read maybe 1-2 chapters per week: 大海原と大海原
And I’m going to try to pick up the pace for おじさまと猫 and からかい上手の高木さん: maybe an additional chapter per week of each
