Chapter five of volume 2 of からかい上手の高木さん, one where I remember this bit from the live action series and really liked it there, so seeing the print version was nice as well.

- Read an interesting article about some rare pictures of the Black Finless Porpoise that a university in collaboration with the Asahi Shinbun managed to take in Tokyo Bay near Haneda airport. (They borrowed the Asahi Shinbun’s helicopter I guess)

- Had a nice lazy Saturday morning reading session to finish off Shimizu-san 2. It really is a pleasure to read this series (mostly because I can handle it, but it’s also just sort of sweet). I hope the MC finds his ability to recognise a girl with the biggest crush on you in the world soon though, I don’t think another volume of being completely oblivious will work.
- Got drawn into Girl Meets Rock 6 last night, had to tear myself from it to go to sleep.

I finished Medalist volume 7!
This series is so peak
I’m excited to keep reading. The story and characters are wonderful (Tsukasa is my favorite), and the artwork is sO incredible. The action and especially emotions/expressions are drawn so well in a way you don’t see from many other manga. The artwork is such a treat :')

Wow these pages were so hard. I didn’t know alot of the words. I think I found my reading sweet spot. From my last few updates I read about 9-11 pages before I got tired. My reading stamina is low right now. I hope to improve it in the future.

Ahhh, Medalist is amazing! I’ve read the first volume or so in English and the art really is so expressive. I’ve watched the first season of the anime which had me ALL in my feels. The second season starts in two days!!

It has been a minute week! Been reading my manga, but haven’t had time to update, so doing a mega post today. I finished a couple of volumes this week, but honestly I’ve been doing a lot more novel reading and haven’t had quite as much manga progress as I had planned. And if my tracking is to be believed, I think I accidentally missed a manga reading day in there somewhere (
), but oh well. Hopefully back to more day to day tracking again.. if I can start remembering to post before I’m falling asleep..

Feeling like I’m starting to get over my cold today! Decided that I’d pick back up The Baronness’ Gardner, the yuri I was reading for the winter solstice read-a-thon. I read a nice half-chapter of that. The story got back into the nobility politics and keigo that I was struggling with back then, but it felt more manageable this time around. Must be all the reading I’ve been doing. Yeah! Progress!!!
Played some Pokemon—mostly reading through exposition, though I did get to do one battle with my rival, whom I trounced soundly. I think I way-overleveled my Pokemon while trying to figure out the battle language. 
Also got a bunch of tidying up and a bit of studying in today… including sending off this image in a very important email to Wanikani:
