I did this challenge last Winter, then fell off on my reading during the spring and summer due to RL issues. Since those are (hopefully) all settled now, I’m going to start this challenge again! I have plenty of manga and a handful of light novels loaded on my iPad, which I’ll add to the list below as I start reading them. I also have my first physical books in Japanese (other than textbooks), which I got for Christmas this year (thanks Mom!).

I expect the Short Stories book to be a bit too easy, but trying to read Tolkien’s The Hobbit translated into Japanese is likely going to be Hard! Especially since there is no furigana… So my goal is to read one page a day (though if I want to do more each day, I won’t stop myself). And I’m also going to do one word search puzzle each day, to practice my hiragana-only vocab!
