We’re coming to the end of the middle of July, and I’ve somehow read every day so far! And last night I finished よつばと! 3 which is my 4th ever manga volume finished! I’m probably going to start volume 4 soon, but then I’ll be out of Yotsubato volumes. 
Knew I should have picked up more volumes when I was in Japan last year. I want to go back to Bookoff… sigh

It takes a different turn around volume 4, but very worth finishing to the end (despite some disturbing content around volume 7).

19th july
most of my jp reading today was devoted to a new n1 book i got which turns out to be mostly textbook and i didn’t get the accompanying workbook. there are also references to a CD for listening questions which doesn’t appear to come with either book??? also absolution has taken a turn and i do not like where we’ve ended up. the book ended. why are we still going

I was busy and forgot to post in this thread but I’m reading every day. Slowly reading through the first volume of No Game no Life. There were some sales I bought some books, manga and cosplay magazines from. But No Game No Life is my highest priority for now.
Last saturday May chan came to visit. I was really nervous but she is such a nice girl. She is the friend of the girl I live together with. We three slept in the same bed because: “we are all girls so it’s okay.” It felt like a school sleep over. We looked together through the pictures of my photo album and both girls said I looked cute as a child. It made me really happy. May even kissed me before she said goodbye. In the future I will probably have more visitors. If all of them are nice like her I won’t have to worry.

Finished Chapter 6 of Nekopara Vol. 1. Took around 1,5 hours. Total time: 18,8 hours 
Getting closer to the end. If I have enough time and motivation tomorrow, I might finish it in one sitting. But we’ll see.

Today, I tried to see if I could struggle my way through まだらの紐 for fun. I was expecting to look up a great deal of vocab, but after struggling through four pages, I decided it was too difficult to continue since I was looking up ~10 words or phrases per page and failing to understand much of the grammar. I’ll return to this later since I love Sherlock Holmes, but for now it’s probably best to stick to easier materials.
On the plus side, it reminded me of some kanji I had learned in Genki I but that I hadn’t seen since, which was lovely!

Yesterday I read only for like 10 minutes, so it all was mainly today.
サイレント・ウィッチ - Vol 5: 32.30% → 56.32%, 3h53m
Wow, so much happened, what a great volume! There were hints that Nero is special, but I didn’t expect THIS… So cool. An I liked the book styling with black pages.
お探し物は図書室まで: 29.58% → 38.83%, 1h08m
Finished the chapter and hence this week.

Random fun fact: Seems like because of the national holiday/祝日「海の日」on 7月21日（月）some people have 3連休 (3 days off) in Japan this weekend. Nice. In Norwegian we call it “langhelg” = long weekend.

Yeah, finally… iirc June is the only month without a national holiday here in Japan, and the ones in May are all at the start, so it’s been like 2 and a half months… ようやく連休がきた

resolved my n1 textbook conundrum, which is a plus. also realised that the berserk promotion from last week was still ongoing so i attempted to read some of vol 6 but my brain just wasn’t in it. i’ll come back to it tomorrow. absolution continues. i definitely should’ve done a reread but also googling isn’t really helping things make any more sense so i’m just gonna wing it
