Finished the book! I don’t think that it is my cup of tea in the sense of reading things like that every day, but it is a page-turner, so I’d like to read something like that from time to time.
It was my second novel which I read physically (the first one was Kiki), and I consider it a success. As a result, I think that from the educational point of view I like instant lookups more, because e.g. I always check pronunciation of the world I have doubt about. Here it was a bother, so I just let it slide. I’ll challenge myself further with other physical books from time to time, but for the time being my preference will be for digital ones. I hope that the portion of books I read physically will increase overtime.

Started reading chapter 2.
I want to read moreee. I shouldn’t be complaining about Kanae streaming too much, but really, there’s so much content I’m watching vods on 1.25x or 1.5x speed just to cut down on time. I want to spend more time reading instead. Next on: Can Redglare combat 推し活 FOMO?
Finished manga vol.2. This one wasn’t quite as good as the first one. Getting a bit more into the war stuff from a Japanese perspective was kinda guaranteed to end that way. Still very nice drawing, good bits. Very hard to parse lots of the language at points. And it would just switch to like 10 pages straight of (beautiful) stylised drawings which used entirely old kana and kanji forms + regional dialect on top. Good practice, but tiring…
About 100 pages left of 国境. I think it’s unlikely I’ll finish it before the weekend, but if I don’t, I’ll finish it off in the Readathon. Maybe inspiration will hit and I’ll finish it off sooner, and get something else out to try for the readathon.
時々 is going smoothly, will be finished before the weekend almost surely.

Finally reached the end of the prologue of SeaBed! It took almost 29 hours. No wonder I haven’t had much time to read anything else the last couple of months! I really do enjoy it though.
